Tomato Dosa


A different type of dosa made of tomatoes and cumin seeds.

Rice
Oats
Chopped Tomato
Cumin Seeds
Red Dry Chilli
Salt
Oil
1 Cup
1 Handful
1.5 Cup
1 Tsp.

To Taste
As Reqd.
Method
1.     Soak rice and oats for 3-5 hours.
2.     Grind chopped tomatoes, cumin seeds, dry red chillies and soaked rice and oats to a smooth batter.
Note: Do not add water while grinding the batter.
3.     Let it ferment.
Note: Can pour dosa immediately too, but tastes even better if the batter ferments.
4.     Pour a cup of water to the batter and dilute it like rava dosa batter consistency and add salt.
5.     Heat the skillet high to medium.
6.     Pour the dosa in circular motion and then fill the center.
7.     Drizzle oil. Let it cook.
8.     Tomato Dosa ready to serve.
