Carrot Rava Idli


Instant Idli…. The batter can also be seasoned with mustard, cumin seeds and chana dal. Small pieces of beans and carrots are of good combination and they look colorful too. This Idli goes well with Chana Dal Ginger Chutney, TRY THIS OUT!!!!!

Ingredients
 
 
Roasted Sooji
Roasted Vermicelli
Curd
Water
Salt
1.5 Cup
½ Cup
½ Cup

To Taste
To Garnish
Finely Cut Carrot
Roasted Cashews

Method
1.          In a mixing bowl mix both sooji and vermicelli.
2.         Add curd and water.
3.         Mix well; see that there are no lumps.
Note: I left the batter overnight. Otherwise you can make idlis immediately after half an hour. Can add a pinch of soda too.
4.         Add salt and mix well
5.         Grease idli plates and pour idli batter and garnish with carrot and cashews and steam them.
6.         Vegetable rava idli ready to go…
