Hi,

I am Aruna, your blogger, a mother of two lovely daughters (two cuties) and wife of a wonderful person. I love singing, cooking, travelling, making new friends and watching movies. I love trying out new vegetarian delicacies from around the world. Being a food enthusiast I love to experiment in cooking for my friends and family (mainly my husband ...my big critic!).

Thanks to my mother, my mother in law and my sister in law for teaching me and appreciating me for what I do. Foodtorelish has evolved with inspiration from my husband, friends and other bloggers.

While my roots are from Udupi, I spent my early childhood days in Hyderabad and subsequently in Dharwad during my higher education and till marriage. Bangalore has been my home since 2001. All these exposures to different places, culture developed an appreciation to different cuisines. In addition the exposure at Australia and the USA helped to explore cuisines from other countries too.

My other keen interest is Singing and I completed Vidhwath in Hindustani Classical (Vocal) under the guidance of Shri. Narayan Rao Mujamdar and Shri. Chandrashekhar Puranikmath.
