Sweet Corn Cutlet

Sweet corn cutlet/ patties are slightly sweetish in taste because as the name says sweet corn. Soft in texture and tasty to eat….

Corn Flour

Garam Masala

Lemon /Lime juice
Coriander Leaves

To shallow fry
1.  Chop onion, green chillies and capsicum finely. Boil and peel potato.
2.  Heat a little oil in a pan, add finely chopped onion and fry on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
3.  Add capsicum and green chilies and sauté for 2-3 minutes. To this add the dry powders and fry for another minute. Add salt as well.
4.  Add sweet corn and sauté till the corns are done… takes approximately 6-7 minutes.
Note: You can even crush the corn before adding.
5.  Add lime juice and chopped corianders leaves and mix well.
6.  Mash the potato and combine with the corn mixture. Mix with the corn flour.
7.  Make patties and roll them over bread crumbs and shallow fry.
8.  Serve with green chutney or ketchup.
