Idly Upma
Idli Uppitu/upma can be made with leftover idlis. Idli taste even better this way. You can always add chopped ginger and roasted peanuts to this dish. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve warm..

Method
 
1.   Crumble the idlis with your fingers. Add little salt and sugar for taste and squeeze lime juice and mix well and set it aside.
 
2.   Chop onion to small pieces and slit the green chillies.
3.   Heat oil in a pan and do the seasoning.
4.   To the seasoning add chopped onion, turmeric powder and green chillies and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Now add the crumbled idlis.
 
5.   Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.
 
6.   Serve warm.
