Palak Paneer Rice


While you may have tried Palak Paneer and Rotis, try Palak Paneer Rice that is a simple and mild rice dish that again makes a good box lunch. Relished Palak Paneer Rice with pickle, raita and papad.

Basmati Rice
Onion
Ginger Garlic Paste
Spinach Puree
Fried Paneer
Green Peas
Salt
Oil + Ghee

Method
1.  Heat oil + ghee in a pan. Add onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
2.  Grind the above ingredients in “to grind “to a smooth paste with a little water.
3.  Add this paste to the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes till you get nice aroma. Add the spinach puree and cook for 6-7 minutes.
 
4.  Mix Add green peas and mix. Now add rice and salt to the mixture and mix well again.
 
5.  Cook rice with 2 cups of water. When the rice is done squeeze lime / lemon juice and add fried paneer and mix well.
6.  Serve with raita.
