Corn Rice


Corn Rice is a simple and tasty variety of rice dish with corn. Goes well with any spicy gravy.

Basmati Rice
Chopped onion
Boiled Corn
Green Peas
Green Chillies
Fennel Powder
Cinnamon
Cloves
Bay Leaf
Star Aniseed
Cumin Seeds
Salt
Oil+Ghee

Method
 
1.  Cook basmati rice separately and set aside.
2.  Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, cloves, star aniseed, bay leaf and cinnamon and fry for few seconds.
3.  Add chopped onion and green chillies and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
 
4.  Add boiled corn and green peas and mix. Sprinkle salt.
 
5.  Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add rice and mix again. Fry for 3-4 minutes.
 
6.  Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
