Palak Methi Rice


Palak methi rice is simple yet tasty rice item. You can also add mixed vegetables instead of spinach and fenugreek leaves and cook rice.

Spinach and Fenugreek Leaves

Green Peas
Green chillies

Method
1.  Chop leafy vegetables finely and onion elongated. Slit green chillies.
2.  Heat oil and ghee in a pan, add spices one by one and sauté. Add onion and slit green chillies and sauté for 3-4 minutes.
 
3.  Sauté chopped spinach and green peas and fry for 4-5 minutes.
4.  Grind grated coconut and fennel seeds to a smooth powder.
 
5.  Add rice and fry for 2-3 minutes, now add ground powder and fry again for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and water.
 
6.  Cook rice till done.
