and crunchy, or when you are immersed in some engrossing book or a cold
evening in front of TV with a cup of coffee or tea, have this Congress

Method
1.     In a micro oven
safe bowl roast the peanuts for a minute, mix well and microwave for one more
minute. This is just to ease roasting on skillet. You can directly roast on
  skillet as well.
2.     Heat a skillet
on low to medium flame and dry roast the microwaved peanuts to brown color.
The peanuts should not burn. De-skin the peanuts and set aside.
3.     Dry roast the
  curry leaves. Let them cool.
4.     Crush the curry
leaves with the de skinned peanuts. This is done for two reasons. Firstly the
crushed curry leaves enhances the flavor and secondly the peanuts become half(split).
  Sprinkle salt and mix well.
5.     Now in a small
bowl mix the red chilli powder, turmeric powder and the pepper powder and
  keep it ready.
6.     Heat oil in the
same skillet( the oil should be hot not smokey). Add asafetida and put off
the heat. Give a mix and add the powders from the bowl and mix.
7.     To this oil
mixture add the crushed peanuts and give a good mix.
8.     Allow it to
cool. Transfer it to an airtight container and store. | ||
