Spinach is usually blanched to enhance the green color and to add texture and flavor.
1. Boil enough water in a pot.
2. Put spinach to boiling water. Press them out gently.
3. Spinach has to stay in hot water for only 15-20 seconds.
5. Put it in cold water and squeeze excess water out.
7. Blanched spinach is a great way to brighten green color and adds additional texture and flavor.
