Blanch Tomoto

Tomato is blanched (remove the skin) for some of the recipes like Ketchup, some dals etc.
1.   Immerse tomato in hot boiling water.

2.   Let it stay for 30-45 seconds. Pay attention to them.
3.   Immediately take them off boiling water and immerse them in cold water.
4.   Remove their skin.
5.   Blanched tomato is ready to cook or ready to freeze now.
6.  Ready to make whatever you think of.
