Split Green Moong Dal Pakodas

Ingredients
Split green moong dal
Urad dal
Onion
Mint leaves
Ginger      
Green chilies
Hing / Asafetida
Salt
Oil
1 Cup
½ Cup
2 Medium
½ Cup
1 Inch
3-4
½ Spoon
According to Taste
To Fry
Method
1.    Soak both the dals together for two and a half hours.
2.   Drain the water and blend the dals with green chilies and ginger into a coarse paste.
3.   Chop the onions and the mint leaves finely.
4.   Add the onion and the mint to the coarse paste.  Add the salt and hing /asafetida.
5.   Mix well.
6.   Put the oil on medium flame and fry the pakodas.
7.   Goes well with ketchup/ chutnies
